Online sales for week ending Sept. 14 grow 33% vs. year ago
Online retail spending grew 33% for the week that ended Sept. 14 vs. the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $920 million from $693 million, comScore Networks Inc.’s Media Metrix division reports.
Total retail spending for the week ending Sept. 13 grew 4.6% over the corresponding week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate. It was the 20th consecutive week of year-over-year growth.
Online travel sales for the week ending Sept. 14 were up 32% over a year earlier, reaching $638 million from $484 million, comScore reports.
