Jack C. Parsons Joins QRS Executive Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer
Richmond, Calif. - January 30, 2002 - QRS Corporation (Nasdaq: QRSI), the
market leader in e-commerce and supply chain management solutions for the
retail industry, announced today the appointment of Jack C. Parsons as chief
financial officer. Parsons brings to QRS more than 25 years of accounting
and financial experience in both public and private companies, as a company
officer, international accounting firm partner and policy regulator. He
possesses significant expertise in financial strategy, financial controls
and analysis, and SEC reporting rules relevant to technology companies.

Before joining QRS, Parsons was chief operating officer and chief financial
officer of Aim Technologies Inc., an early-stage direct marketing database
company specializing in in-venue loyalty programs operated for professional
and collegiate sports teams. Under his leadership, the number of teams
under contract at Aim grew five-fold.
Parsons also has extensive software industry experience. As CFO and vice
president of finance at Macromedia Inc. and The Learning Company, he
significantly enhanced the finance, IT and operations groups with a focus on
improving controls, productivity and external reporting.
