Former Shopping.com executive named CEO of AdBrite


AdBrite, an Internet advertising network, has named Iggy Fanlo, former president of worldwide field operations at Shopping.com, as its new CEO. He succeeds Philip Kaplan, who remains as chairman.

AdBrite, whose clients include NHL.com, works with more than 15,000 independent web sites to enable them to sell online advertising, the company says.

“Iggy Fanlo was the perfect choice to lead AdBrite as we continue our growth,” said Kaplan, who will also take the new title of chief product officer. “He’s a professional manager with strong operational and financial experience.” At Shopping.com, Fanlo served as chief revenue office in addition to president of worldwide field operations.

AdBrite’s ads reach more than 55 million unique users monthly, up from 7 million monthly at the start of 2005, the company says.
