ST. PAUL, Minn. April 26, 2004 – Lawson Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: LWSN) signed a new contract with Pilot Travel Centers LLC, the largest U.S. interstate travel center operation, in Lawson’s fiscal 2004 third quarter, which ended Feb. 29. Pilot Travel Centers licensed Lawson’s Human Resources Suite including Payroll, Benefits and Self Service to automate HR processes and reduce administrative costs. The solution will be implemented at Pilot Travel Centers’ Knoxville, Tenn., headquarters and throughout the company’s 264 locations that span 37 states.
A Lawson Financials customer since 1992, Pilot Travel Centers will replace the company’s legacy HR and payroll system with Lawson’s Human Resources Suite to eliminate paper-based processes, automate HR tasks and improve workforce efficiencies. The solution will also integrate with Lawson’s Financials Suite improving access to information.
