ABOUT inQ:
Los Angeles, CA.-based inQ has successfully pioneered the marriage of sophisticated real-time chat technology with transaction-based marketing programs for ecommerce companies. By hosting live chat upsells and cross-sells with their clients’ consumers after the initial purchase, inQ delivers additional profits to the retailers’ pockets. inQ’s proprietary live-chat technology enables human reps to interact with consumers to deliver offers for popular products and services from well-branded partners, or to cross-sell from the retailing site’s own mix of products and services. inQ’s partners include Entertainment.com, GE Partnership Marketing Group, NetFlix, Trilegiant and United Marketing Group.
inQ’s live chat-based upsells and cross-sells are served to online customers following a sales transaction via a “chatskin”. The chatskin is a chat window that matches the look and feel of the participating Web site’s confirmation page, providing consumers with a seamless purchasing experience. Customers viewing a chatskin can opt-in by typing “hello”, which begins the interaction with the live operator to receive information about the offer. Conversion of inQ’s clients’ total monthly web orders often extends into double digits.
At the heart of inQ’s capability is inQCentral, the backbone of the company’s operation, which delivers after-sale offers to the consumer. Through inQCentral, inQ fully hosts the call centers, scripting, reporting, and compliance divisions. inQ’s live chat activity is powered by inQTechnology, which encompasses the company’s proprietary chatskin, live chat and implementation systems. Since its start in 2002, inQ has attracted the attention of leading Internet and brick and mortar companies and has launched services for them as they continue to expand into the online marketing arena.
