Electronic Retailing Association Hosts Encore Legal Series Seminar

Register Now For ERA’s Second Educational Legal Series Seminar May 14, 2004 at the Regency Hotel in New York City

WASHINGTON, DC —The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), the trade association for major companies who use the power of electronics to sell goods and services to the public, is hosting its encore Legal Series Seminar “Representing the Direct Response Client” on May 14, 2004 at the Regency Hotel in New York, NY. This seminar is the second in ERA’s series installment and will follow-up on the success of ERA’s inaugural event on April 28, 2004 in Santa Monica, CA.

This in-depth seminar is designed to educate legal professionals in the field of direct response marketing about the industry’s evolving legislative and regulatory landscape. Ranging from information on the Telemarketing Sales Rule and the CAN SPAM Act to updates on testimonial and endorsement regulations, the seminar will provide attendees with the tools they need to effectively counsel their clients and employers on today’s top legal issues. In addition, attendees will be able to obtain an unprecedented nine CLE credits to meet continuing education requirements in their field of expertise.

During this seminar, ERA also has arranged a keynote luncheon with Reilly Dolan, Assistant Director for Enforcement at the Federal Trade Commission who will address enforcement issues and regulatory concerns. In addition, ERA has assembled a powerhouse team of legal and regulatory direct marketing authorities to head the seminar including:
