U.S. Auto Parts names a new chairman
U.S. Auto Parts Network Inc. has appointed Robert J. Majteles as chairman.
Majteles is the founder of Treehouse Capital LLC, an investment banking firm.
Prior to launching Treehouse, Majteles was CEO of three different technology companies, including CAMAX Systems Inc., a developer of mechanical CAD/CAM software, and ULTRADATA Corp., a publicly traded developer of banking software.
Majteles also is a lecturer at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and at Stanford Law School, Stanford University.
U.S. Auto Parts Network, No. 169 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, reported sales of $120.1 million for fiscal year 2006, ended Dec. 31, an increase of 101% from $59.7 million in the prior year.
