Safeway.com cuts mid-week delivery fees in Oregon
Safeway.com is offering reduced delivery charges for mid-week days in Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, just the opposite of what it is charging in San Francisco and Sacramento.
Safeway.com announced today that customers in 75 ZIP codes in the Portland area will pay $4.95 for deliveries on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until July 3, $5 off its usual fee. Last week, Safeway.com announced the same reduced price for California customers for weekend delivery through June 30.
Safeway fulfills orders from local supermarket and deliver orders within a two-hour delivery window from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
