Working Person’s Store, No. 449 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has expanded into a 27,000-square-foot operations center in Buchanan, MI. The new center will support expanded online order fulfillment, customer service and returns processing, as well as provide administrative functions for the overall business, which includes a store in Lakeville, IN. The company expects the facility to employ up to 50.
“Working Person’s Store has a long history of delivering fanatical customer service. Given our rapid growth, this expansion gives us the needed capacity to continue in that tradition well into the future,” says CEO Eric Deniger.
Working Person’s new facility will be in the same building as its e-commerce technology provider Avid Commerce, which also powers e-commerce web sites for clothing retailer JLPowellUSA.com and art site ArtPassions.com.
