Mark Vadon, CEO and founder of online jeweler Blue Nile Inc., has joined the board of directors of Wine.com.

Vadon co-founded Blue Nile, No. 49 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, in 1999 and led the company through an initial public offering in May 2004. Before Blue Nile, he was a consultant with Bain & Co.
