LetsTalk.com Inc., an online retailer of cell phones, other wireless devices and service plans, has named wireless industry veteran and former Sprint Nextel executive Ruth Yankoupe chief operating officer.
Yankoupe, with 12 years of experience in the wireless business, most recently managed the telesales channel at wireless products and services provider Sprint Nextel across 13 locations in seven countries. Yankoupe also launched Sprint Nextel’s first online sales rep channel.
Yankoupe will oversee LetsTalk's call center, activation, fulfillment and human resources, and will spend half of her time in the company’s new 45,000-square-foot customer contact and fulfillment center in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. The new facility houses 250 employees.
