Kurt Salmon Associates Appoints Vice Presidents
ATLANTA, March 24 -- Kurt Salmon Associates` (KSA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce two new appointments to Vice President of the firm—Kathryn Cullen and David Hetzel. "This is our highest recognition of professional accomplishment and contribution," says chairman Mark Wietecha. "These appointments have been well earned."
During her 10 years with KSA, Ms. Cullen has successfully delivered engagements in IT strategy, systems selection and implementation, custom design, and process improvements for leading retailers, consumer goods suppliers, and health care organizations. She directed a breakthrough business-to-business consortium of department stores and branded manufacturers in the development of innovative and collaborative processes for financial and merchandise planning, reverse logistics, and point-of-sale data analysis via the Internet.
Ms. Cullen believes technology is a tool to make business work within the four walls of the business, and outside, with suppliers and customers. She frequently speaks at industry events hosted by organizations such as the Grocery Manufacturers Association, National Retail Federation, and Retail Industry Leaders Association, and is tenacious with business development. She has also supported several new initiatives, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and alliances with software providers.
Mr. Hetzel, KSA`s Chief Administrative Officer, has more than 20 years of leadership and administrative experience, with significant expertise in operations, financial management, risk management, and accounting. He is a member of the firm`s Global Leadership Team and provides valuable direction on a wide range of strategic, client, and operations matters worldwide.
Mr. Hetzel directs the global accounting, finance, infrastructure, legal, and risk management activities for the firm. He has strengthened the accounting and technology practices and is frequently sought after for his astute negotiation skills.
Mr. Hetzel is based in Atlanta, GA and has two children.
