Island Pacific/Retail Pro Announces Global Channel Development Initiative
Newly appointed executives to drive Growth and Global Support of Customers
Irvine, California, USA – March 22, 2006 – Island Pacific (IPIN.PK) announced today that it is launching a new global channel development initiative to fuel the further development of existing Business Partners and appoint new Business Partners in high growth potential markets around the world. The Company has appointed a number of industry veterans and promoted other executives to new leadership positions to support this initiative.
Island Pacific/Retail Pro currently has in place the finest global specialty retail channel, and as part of a renewed strategic focus, will significantly expand and strengthen this position. This move enables Island Pacific/Retail Pro to better service its customers around the world, better develop local markets in each targeted country and drive increased revenues and profitability for the Company and its Business Partners.
Island Pacific/Retail Pro is actively analyzing markets on a global basis to identify high growth potential opportunities and to identify the keys to success in targeted local markets.
As part of this analysis, the Company continues to place the necessary resources to further develop and support its existing partners.

The following executives will focus on business development and the support of Retail Pro Partners and strategic customers in their respective geographies:
Jordan Herrington has been promoted to Vice President Sales - North America. Jordan was formerly Director of Sales for North America.
Mike Dotson has been promoted to Vice President/Managing Director - EMEA. Mike was previously Managing Director of the Island Pacific division in the United Kingdom.
Shaff Kassam joins the Island Pacific/Retail Pro executive team as Vice President/Managing Director - Latin America. Shaff has over two decades of sales and business development experience in the retail technology industry in the Latin America markets.
Malcolm Thomas joins the Island Pacific/Retail Pro executive team as Vice President/Managing Director - Australasia with over twenty five years experience selling and implementing retail solutions to specialty retailers in the Asia Pacific and Australian markets. In addition, Malcolm has extensive experience building and managing distribution channels in these same markets.
Amy Fu, most recently Director of Retail Applications at Chang Yi Information Technology, will assume the role of Vice President/Managing Director – China which will also include Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
