Inovis to Deliver UCCnet Solution for Geac Customers
Global Retail Item Synchronization Solution Custom-Tailored for Seamless Integration with System21 Software
ATLANTA and CHICAGO -- May 10, 2004 -- Inovis, a leading provider of business commerce automation solutions, today announced an agreement to develop and offer an integrated retail item synchronization solution with Geac, a global enterprise software company for business performance management. Inovis will tailor its retail item synchronization solution, BizManager for UCCnet Services, specifically for Geac‚s customer base, facilitating connectivity with UCCnet and ease of integration with Geac‚s enterprise resource planning software, System21.
Geac‚s customers will benefit from a demonstration and overview of Inovis‚ global retail item synchronization solutions at Alliance2004, Geac‚s annual users‚ conference being held this week in Chicago.
Providing the necessary foundation for effective electronic commerce, manufacturers can use the Inovis solution to synchronize information on products with their retail partners. Inovis has extensive experience facilitating global retail item synchronization, already servicing more than 130 UCCnet customers. The UCCnet GLOBALregistry is a standardized platform for the exchange of product item data between trading partners, adopted particularly for the hardline, grocery and general retail sectors.

In addition, due to the tight integration of the solution with System21, time spent linking systems together is eliminated, improving IT staff‚s productivity.
In addition to its UCCnet services, Inovis supports an entire range of business commerce automation needs regardless of connectivity, data format or technology, including legacy investments in electronic data interchange (EDI) as well as newer technologies and standards like extensible markup language (XML) and Applicability Statement 2 (AS2).
