CELEBROS ANNOUNCES UPGRADES TO QWISER SALESPERSON
New version simplifies and automates online store management
Santa Barbara, CA May 13, 2004 Celebros Inc., a fast-growing provider of advanced search and retrieval solutions for online stores and e-commerce sites, announced the release of Qwiser Salesperson Search and Navigation Solution v.2.1. The solution significantly raises conversion rates, average order sizes and revenues.
The on-target search results for which Qwiser Salesperson is known are retrieved 30% faster in version 2.1. Celebros customers are provided with the upgrade free of charge.
Qwiser 2.1 complements the way site managers and merchandisers work. It enables an increasing number of processes that are intuitive and automatic, saving time and cost for online stores. Technical aspects of site management are simplified and automated so that managers and merchandisers can focus on the substantive aspects of marketing. Some highlights are described below.
Qwiser 2.1 makes it easier to control how search results are presented to shoppers. For instance, presenting best sellers or new products first, is easily determined. Upsell and cross-sell initiatives are facilitated by the ease of defining related products for presentation to shoppers along with the search results.
In version 2.1, Qwisers merchandising component - Salesperson Desktop (SPD), automatically updates the product catalog with new information. When new brands, for instance, are added to the product catalog, this information is automatically incorporated in the refining questions about brands that Qwiser asks shoppers during search without any manual changes.
Qwiser can be integrated more quickly at stores with complex databases. In addition, stores that manage specialized portals geared to a specific clientele within their site (for example, a designer boutique portal within a clothing store) can now use a single Qwiser Salesperson license when a common catalog is shared.
Celebros R&D department continues to hone Qwiser Salesperson whose goal is to ensure that online shopping is easy and enjoyable and that all the conditions required to turn each contact with the shopper into a sale are present.
