Syms Corp.’s Dress for Success to debut online
Clothing retailer Syms Corp. will make a bid to extend its customer audience into a younger demographic with the upcoming scheduled debut of Syms Dress for Success Online. The online feature, set to launch on the retailer’s web site this week, is aimed at job seekers and college students looking to compete in today’s tight labor market, with information on workplace dress codes, styles and policies. The feature will provide its targeted audience with research-based fashion and style recommendations, using polling data from
South Brunswick, N.J.-based National Research.
The new online program also depicts a major shift for the 42 year-old discount retailer, which has traditionally focused on an older population with its offering of some 200 nationally recognized brands of men’s and women’s clothing. In addition to the online program, the tips and resources also will be available in the company’s 42 stores.
