Scalable Washington and California Centers to Absorb Oregon Distribution
PORTLAND, Ore.--March 8, 2002--eVineyard, Inc. dba wine.com by eVineyard (www.wine.com) announced today that it will consolidate distribution from its Oregon licensed logistics center to its California and Washington centers effective March 21, 2002. The move optimizes operations for the leading national online wine retailer.

By leveraging the scalability of our logistics centers, we are able to improve our operational costs, while continuing to offer our customers the same great wines and service," said Peter S. Ekman, president and CEO.
Residents of Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming, formerly served by the Oregon logistics center, will be served by the Washington center. Consumers in Alaska, California, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, West Virginia and Wisconsin will be served by the California logistics center.
