Harold’s Stores appoints Leonard Snyder as interim CEO

Apparel retailer Harold’s Stores Inc. has appointed retail veteran Leonard Snyder as interim CEO, replacing president and CEO Hubert W. Mullins, who has resigned.

Snyder, a member of the Harold’s board of directors since 2000, has 30 years of retail industry experience including 15 years as head of department and specialty apparel retailers. Snyder has served as a marketing and management consultant since 1995.

Dallas-based Harold’s operates 41 upscale apparel stores in 19 states and Harolds.com. The company says it plans to search for a permanent replacement for Mullins.
