Waldenbooks launches web site for preferred readers
Waldenbooks, the nation`s largest mall-based bookseller, is now on the Internet at www.PreferredReader.com. The new site is designed as an exclusive benefit for Waldenbooks Preferred Readers, one of the longest running retail rewards programs with members that number in the millions.
Waldenbooks` PreferredReader.com will let users sign up for Preferred Reader e-mail so they can receive advance notice of special in-store promotions and hot new book releases. The site features a Waldenbooks store locator and an application for the Preferred Reader VISA card, as well as links that explain Preferred Reader program benefits and the history of Waldenbooks. Currently, the site does not sell books; however, there is a link to Borders.com, Waldenbooks` parent company.
