i2 and QRS form strategic partnership
i2 Technologies Inc., a marketplace solutions provider, has formed a strategic partnership with QRS Corp., a provider of collaborative business-to-business e-commerce solutions for the retail industry. The partnership plans to integrate i2 TradeMatrix Solutions with QRS` Tradeweave Retail Network.
It is anticipated that the joint solution would enable collaboration between buyers and sellers through access to merchandising, planning, commerce and logistics solutions integrated with a content solution residing on a common platform. This solution would aim to provide collaboration across all critical retail functions.
i2 will likely incorporate its collaboration capabilities and i2 TradeMatrix planning and fulfillment solutions with QRS` Tradeweave Retail Network, which includes forecasting and allocation, global sourcing and logistics, network services and product catalog.
