McAfee.com ramps up in Europe with French and German online stores

California-based McAfee.com, a security Application Service Provider, expanded its European presence by opening two online eStores in Germany and France. These stores will join McAfee.com`s eStore in the U.K., and provide additional European users with access to its Internet security and maintenance solutions, both through download and physical distribution of products. Approximately 30% of the company’s subscriber base is outside the U.S. McAfee.com`s eStores, designed and operated by Beyond.com, will be fully localized in each country`s native language and will accept the local currency as well as the Euro. The stores will feature both digital download capabilities as well as physical product distribution for products ordered but not delivered over the Internet.
