Bristol Farms Markets and HomeCourier.com will extend free home delivery
Based on the successful launch of their first broad-based marketing program in January, Bristol Farms Markets, a 12-store gourmet food chain in Southern California, and HomeCourier.com will offer free home-delivered groceries again in March. Marketing support is targeted to introduce new customers to BristolFarms.com. It includes a free delivery offer communicated via web sites, elevators, direct mail and in-store advertising. "January was the first month we aggressively marketed our Bristolfarms.com home delivery service. The results of our January marketing push were phenomenal. We increased the number of Bristolfarms.com customers 300-400% over our base-line each week of the promotion. And, 40% of those new customers have already used our service again in February, after the free delivery offer expired. We are very excited about these results and the opportunity for further growth as our marketing reaches out to potential new customers again this month," said Kevin Davis, president and CEO, Bristol Farms.
In July 2000, HomeCourier.com and Bristol Farms formed a partnership to provide same-day, residential delivery of groceries. Orders placed online by 10:45 a.m. receive their groceries the same day. HomeCourier.com provides same day delivery for retail partners including Bristol Farms Markets, Ralphs, Gelson`s, Capital Drugs, Super Drugs, Basket Heaven, Morry`s of Naples and Metro Express.
