
Home Depot gains on eBay in traffic to Home & Garden sites
EBay Home led the Home & Garden category in terms of unique visitors in May, but The Home Depot wasn’t far behind, lagging eBay by only 200,000, reports Nielsen/NetRatings.
The Top 10 Home & Garden sites, with unique visitors (in millions) this May and last, and growth from May 2006, according to Nielsen/NetRatings, were:

- The Home Depot, 11.88, 11.26, 6%
- Lowe`s, 8.88, 8.41, 6%

Total unique visitors to Home & Garden sites in May were 55.35 million. Unique visitors count only once each shopper who came to a site, no matter how many times that shopper visited.
Ranked by average time spent per person on the site in a month, Home Shopping Network led, with 21 minutes and 12 seconds. The Top 10 in time spent (minutes:seconds), plus their unique visitors (in thousands) for May, were:
