Walgreens.com`s no-click registration

Walgreens drugstores has registered 1.5 million customers at its web site, many coming in via what Walgreens dubs "no-click" registration, Craig M. Sinclair, vice president of advertising, told the Making Retail Click conference in Chicago today. "You give the pharmacist your e-mail address and you're registered," Sinclair said. Walgreens serves 40 million customers nationwide. Once registered, each customer gets a personalized page with that customer's health history. The customer can update the page as necessary. Making Retail Click was sponsored by consultants McMillan/Dootlittle and J.C. Williams Group.
