WIZSHOP TO PROVIDE RECEIPT CAPTURE TECHNOLOGY FOR HOMESTORE.COM, INC. FAMILY OF WEB SITES
SAN JOSE, California, May 7, 2001 – Semotus Solutions, (Amex:DLK, formerly Datalink.net), a market leading wireless application service provider and infrastructure architect, today announced that it’s wholly owned subsidiary, WizShop, Inc., has entered into an agreement with Homestore.com, Inc. to provide receipt capture technology for its family of Web sites, including Homestore.com™, the leading site in both the home and real estate and lifestyle and hobbies categories.
WizShops dynamic receipt capture technology will enable Homestore.com’s registered users to track their online orders with any Web merchant and keep them in one convenient online file -similar to but more convenient than what they might do at home with printed receipts. Through a single, consolidated interface, users can shop anywhere on the Internet and manage a complete online transaction list privately on their own computers as well as port data easily into popular personal finance software programs such as Quicken® and Microsoft® Money.
According to Steve McAllister, chief executive officer of WizShop, the agreement will develop WizShops e-commerce relationship with Homestore.com, Inc. and help WizShop reach a new set of online shoppers. The receipt capture technology will enable Homestore.com to better assist visitors on its Web sites with their online shopping needs. Features include:
