Resizing
Now images can be resized and optimized for the Web automatically. Merchandiser provides controls to adjust the height and width of any image while maintaining the original aspect ratio or scale by a specified percentage. This eliminates the need to store or maintain multiple versions of images for use within a Web site.
Zooming/Panning
Zoom templates provide different style interfaces and include all of the code including JavaScript, HTML, and DHTML for integration into your Web site, allowing complete customization of the design. Merchandiser provides several different templates to make integrating zoom and pan into your site fast and easy.
Intelligent Caching
Merchandiser uses a caching system to deliver better performance. When an image is dynamically generated, it is automatically placed into cache. Images stay in cache based on the frequency with which they are requested and on the size of cache allotted by the server administrator.
Easy Integration
Integrates into any existing Web site infrastructure. Since the server communicates directly with the client Web browser, the only change needed to the Web site itself is to update the image source tags to include the appropriate URL for the image server.
