MIAMI, April 15, 2002 New Generation Computing Inc. today announced that
Wilsons Leather has selected New Generation`s Internet-based sourcing software,
e-SPS, to improve cycle times, manage production and collaborate with vendors
throughout Asia.
To be installed at Wilsons Leather`s headquarters in Brooklyn Park, Minn., and
accessed by the company`s overseas offices and vendors via an Internet
connection, e-SPS will enable the company to track orders, distribute
specifications and receive real-time updates throughout the production
process. In addition, e-SPS will facilitate a more dynamic supply chain,
streamline Wilsons` global communications and reduce its non-value-added
operating costs.
