NetShift has officially opened a North American office with the assimilation of the Cybertotems North American team under the NetShift banner. With an experienced team of professionals already in place, NetShift has a ready-made beachhead for its push into the US markets.
Due to a strategic realignment, Cybertotems has decided to withdraw from the US market,
whereas Netshift, recipient of a recent multi-million dollar investment from Shell Internet
Ventures, plans to expand aggressively into the North American market and has committed to
hiring the entire Cybertotems team, led by Bob Gallner, previously VP of sales for Cybertotems.
Netshift will continue expanding its North American customer base in keeping with the
company?s policy of engaging customers more directly to ensure success of their public access
technology deployments.
Nigel Seed, Chairman and CEO of NetShift said, "The team in place has proven market experience
and commitment to NetShift`s policy of ensuring that we deliver cost effective kiosk networks
with a tangible ROI. By ensuring the NetShift US operation continues to deliver business benefits
to our customers, we look forward to increasing our global leadership with further penetration
of the US."
Bob Gallner, Head of NetShift US Operations said, "The entire team here in the US is very excited
