Home Decor Products launches Cliquidate.com
Cliquidate.com has been launched by Home Décor Products, the eighth retail web site and the third this year from the developer of niche home and home improvement sites.
Cliquidate.com offers consumers deep discounts on products in that category. For manufactures, it seeks to maximize asset recovery by serving as an outlet for excess stock, discontinued merchandise and refurbished or distressed products, such as kitchen faucets, washing machines, and pool cleaners. Manufacturers already participating in the new site include Grohe, Fisher Paykel and Murray Feiss, among others.
Home Décor Products takes merchandise from manufacturers into its warehouse on consignment, puts them up on Cliquidate.com, packs and ships the items and provides follow-up with customers.
“Excess, discontinued and damaged stock make up a large part of an organization’s added liabilities. In seeing this, we envisioned a platform in which manufacturers can reclaim lost revenues,” says Nathan Foreman, director of marketplace sales for Home Décor Products. “Cliquidate is another tool in our suite of value-added services we provide to our manufacturer partners to enable them to effectively leverage the Internet as an incremental sales channel.”
Other sites operated by Home Decor Products, No. 107 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, include HomeClick.com, Barbecues.com and Hecchinger.com.
