Streaming Video Company Demonstrates Continued Growth with Addition of Sales and Business Development Personnel

SEATTLE - April 22, 2001 – Vendaria Inc, a provider of streaming video solutions for sales, marketing and merchandising, today announced the addition of Mike McHenry as the vice president of sales and account management. The company also added Brian Burke as director of strategic partnerships and Amy O’Rourke as account manager. These personnel additions demonstrate Vendaria’s consistent growth and continued commitment to providing manufacturers, retailers and advertising and marketing agencies with effective and reliable streaming media solutions designed to benefit the dial-up consumer.

“Mike McHenry’s rich history in streaming media applications makes him a natural fit for Vendaria,” says Scott Ferris, president and CEO of Vendaria. “His understanding of the streaming media marketplace and the need that Vendaria fills in it will help our company to continue its rapid growth.”

Formerly the vice president of sales at Loudeye Technology, where he led the sales team through a successful IPO, McHenry will be responsible for guiding Vendaria’s sales efforts in the manufacturing and retail sectors. McHenry brings 20 years of experience to Vendaria leading small, medium and global sales and marketing teams, including specific experience working with Fortune 1000 clients. McHenry is also the founder of The ePartners, a Seattle-based consulting company created to help Internet and ecommerce companies in all aspects of business operations. Prior to Loudeye and The ePartners, McHenry worked at iCat/Intel and Giga Information Group, among others.

“I am pleased to become an intricate member of the Vendaria team,” says Mike McHenry vice president of sales for Vendaria. “Vendaria fills a need by providing manufacturers and retailers with the streaming technology to reach the largest and most influential online consumer audience, the dial-up user. This ability has created demand that positions Vendaria as a major player, poised for growth and continued success.”

As director of strategic partnerships, Brian Burke will oversee Vendaria’s relationships with leading Internet portals. Prior to joining Vendaria, Burke managed syndication relationships as the vice president of syndication at AtomShockwave and held the position of sales operations manager at Imation Publishing Software.

Amy O’Rourke also joins Vendaria as an account manager in the sales division. Previously O’Rourke was an account executive for Network Commerce where she closed $1 million of revenue annually from Fortune 500 companies and advertising agencies. Prior to that, she was a sales consultant for Careers Northwest where she was a member of the million-dollar sales club.
