Web-originated sales at Circuit City grew 74% year-over-year in the third quarter ended Nov. 30, the retailer said today.
Web-originated sales include store pick-up of online orders, which the retailer has been promoting in recent months in a multi-media ad campaign.
By comparison, total Q3 sales rose 14.7% to $2.9 billion from $2.5 billion a year ago, as comp store sales rose 13.1%, the retailer said.
