Apple leads in visits to computer hardware sites
Apple Computer Inc.s Apple.com led in number of unique visitors to computer hardware manufacturers` sites for the week ended Dec. 14, with 4.4 million, Nielsen/NetRatings reports. Apple attracted 61% more visitors than second-ranked Hewlett-Packard Co.s HPShopping.com, with 2.7 million, and 69% more than third-ranked Dell Inc.s Dell.com, with 2.6 million.
Following in a distant fourth place was Gateway Inc.s Gateway.com, with 689,000 visitors. Next was Bose.com, with 506,000.
For the same week, the product category of books, movies and music garnered the most online advertising impressions, with 534.7 million, according to Nielsens AdRelevance report.
