Online sales for the week ending Nov. 27—the week that included Thanksgiving—grew 28%, reaching $2.04 billion from $1.6 billion in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.
By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending Nov. 26 were up 9.2% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak RCT Corp.’s National Retail Sales Estimate.
Online travel sales for week ending Nov. 27 were up 15% to $839 million from $730 million in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
