DoubleClick hires a new chief marketing officer
Advertising and marketing company DoubleClick Inc. has named Pete Krainik as chief marketing officer. He will be responsible for the company`s global marketing strategy as well as helping DoubleClick expand its sales channel into key vertical markets.
Krainik previously was vice president and general manager of the Consumer Goods division of Siebel Systems Inc. Before joining Siebel Systems, Krainik spent 15 years at Mars Inc., where his last roles included vice president of sales, chief e-business officer and senior marketing positions. Krainik has also held senior positions at i2 Technologies, Deloitte & Touche and Gulf Oil Corp.
New York-based DoubleClick offers online advertising, e-mail marketing and database marketing services as well as a marketing analytics tool that measures performance within and across channels.
