Way up north
The e-shopping view up north—big potential
Canada possesses a population one-ninth the size of the U.S. population, yet, while Canadians are computer literate and wired, they spend about one-thirtieth the amount that U.S. shoppers spend online. Research firm eMarketer measured the Canadian market in a report that came out this fall. Its conclusion: Canada is moving from early adopters to a mass market.
