Peters Brings Nearly 20 Years Marketing and Strategy Experience to Leading x-SCE Provider
ATLANTA - May 6, 2002 - Manhattan Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: MANH), the global leader in providing extended supply chain execution (x-SCE™) solutions, today announced the appointment of Eric Peters as the company`s senior vice president of marketing and alliances. A recognized thought leader in the supply chain execution field, Peters will further strengthen the Manhattan Associates management team and help the company continue to extend its global leadership position in the x-SCE marketplace.

Prior to joining Manhattan Associates, Peters was founder and CEO of an Accenture affiliate company that was breaking new ground in the field of Internet security and Web services. Previously, Peters held a variety of positions at Accenture, including associate partner in the company`s supply chain strategy practice and membership in its executive global leadership committee for the distribution practice. Peters held several additional responsibilities during his time at Accenture, including marketing leader for the distribution practice, software alliance partner and supply chain practice government leader. Additionally while at Accenture, Peters had distribution leadership responsibilities in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Preceding his time at Accenture, Peters spent 12 years with supply chain consulting firm, Tompkins Associates. While with Tompkins Associates, Peters held a number of senior-level marketing, sales and consulting positions.
