Consultants Help Chart Course for Supply Chain Collaboration Solution Provider
Waltham, Mass. – May 21, 2002 - Syncra Systems, Inc., a premier provider of supply chain intelligence and collaboration solutions and the leader in Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR®) implementations, hosted its first consultant advisory meeting, a two-day discussion forum with several leading independent consultants that specialize in the supply chain industry. Held on May 9-10, 2002 in Waltham, Mass., the meeting brought together thought leaders and executives from consulting firms such as Arena Consulting Group, Eden Prairie, MN; Value Chain Collaboration Associates, Inc., Fayetteville, AR; and Supply Chain Systems, Inc., St. Paul, MN. Also in attendance were self-represented consultants who bring broad industry experiences from working with companies such as General Mills, Georgia-Pacific, CVS, and Timberland.
Syncra formed the advisory group to create an opportunity for independent industry consultants to discuss the current and future states of supply chain collaboration, as well as to network and share experiences with one another in both formal and facilitated sessions. Attendees were also briefed on Syncra`s next generation supply chain collaboration products.

These independent consultants sat side-by-side to discuss how they and Syncra will continue to shape the future direction of the industry and initiatives such as CPFR," said Wes Arens, Syncra`s SVP of worldwide sales and marketing. "The group will meet on a regular basis and looks forward to the next meeting at June`s Retail Systems conference."
