Shopzilla’s Davis joins board at Loyalty Labs
Chuck Davis, chairman of Shopzilla, has been named to the board of directors at Loyalty Lab Inc., effective immediately.
Davis, with more than 20 years experience in direct marketing and e-commerce, joined Shopzilla, then called Bizrate.com, as CEO in 1999 and oversaw the company’s acquisition by the E. W. Scripps Co. last year. Previously, Davis held positions with the Walt Disney Co. He served as president of e-commerce for Walt Disney Co.’s Internet Group just prior to joining Shopzilla.
“Chuck knows his way around direct marketing probably better than anyone I know,” says Loyalty Lab CEO Mark H. Goldstein. “His experience, wit, connections and proven savvy, in part contributing to a successful sale of Shopzilla to E.W. Scripps, make him the ideal board member for us at Loyalty Lab to help us continue our growth into 2006.”
Loyalty Lab is a provider of on-demand retail loyalty and customer management solutions. CEO Goldstein, a speaker at the Internet Retailer 2006 Conference & Exhibition June 5-7 in Chicago, is the former CEO of Kmart’s BlueLight.com retail site.
