Search engine marketing firm Fathom Online gets a new CEO, chairman
Dean DeBiase, the former chairman and CEO of Autoweb.com, has been named chairman and CEO of search engine marketing firm Fathom Online. He succeeds Fathom Online founder Chris Churchill, who remains as vice chairman.
DeBiase, who will continue his part-time role as chairman of Startup Partners, a provider of consulting and outsourcing services, has worked for several Fortune 500 companies in top executive positions. As chairman of motor vehicle research and e-commerce site Autoweb, he led its expansion, IPO and merger with Autobytel Inc.
Prior to Autoweb, DeBiase was chairman and CEO of The Imagination Network, an online games and Instant Messenger service, which he sold to AOL Inc. DeBiase has also
served as chief marketing officer of Zenith Electronics Corp. (which has since been acquired by LG Electronics) and managing director of FedEx Corp.
DeBiase is also the co-author of “The Big Moo,” a collection of ideas from business leaders, and co-founder of Remarkabalize.com, a network of authors and business leaders.
Fathom offers a Triton data collection platform that generates customized analytics for search engine marketing programs.
