WeddingChannel.com signs deal with Waterford Wedgwood


WeddingChannel.com, the leading wedding planning resource and largest online bridal registry, has signed a multi-year exclusive sponsorship agreement with luxury lifestyle products company Waterford Wedgwood U.S.A. Inc. The partnership will provide Waterford Wedgwood`s premium brands, including Waterford Crystal, Wedgwood and All-Clad cookware, positioning to engaged couples selecting tabletop and cookware brands for their bridal registries.

Waterford Wedgwood reports that it surveyed more than 2,500 brides to research the bridal registry process and concluded that WeddingChannel.com was the registry most used by brides. "This partnership is a strategic opportunity for Waterford Wedgwood to positively and creatively assist the decision-making process of one of our most important target consumer audiences," said Chris McGillivary, president and CEO, Waterford Wedgwood, U.S.A.

WeddingChannel.com features 750,000 registries with more than 10 million gifts at leading retailers such as Bloomingdale`s, Macy`s, Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, Williams-Sonoma, Crate & Barrel and Dillard`s. Nearly $50 million worth of registry gifts have been purchased through WeddingChannel.com in the past year.
