AG Interactive surpasses 2.5 million subscribers
New content and web sites at AG Interactive, the online unit of American Greetings Corp., have led to a 14% increase in the number of subscribers over the past six months to 2.5 million, AG Interactive says.
AG Interactive’s sites, which sell electronic greeting cards and content that can be downloaded and printed, include AmericanGreetings.com, BlueMountain.com, Egreetings.com and newcomers BloomByAG.com and HatterChatter.com. BloomByAG.com caters to young professional women, HatterChatter.com to women 50 and over. American Greetings is No. 145 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites.
More changes are in store for this year, says
AG Interactive senior vice president Sally Babcock. "We have seen some great traffic numbers recently, and with the slew of innovative greetings we have planned for 2006, we look forward to breaking more records,” she says.
