Peapod delivers the fastest load time across multiple connections

Across all connection modes Peapod delivers the fastest connection time of the web’s top 50 retailers, says Gomez Inc. With a combined average that includes high broadband, low broadband and dial-up, shoppers and visitors could access Peapod in 2.3 seconds, followed by Dell (3.1 seconds), Netflix (4.2 seconds), HSN.com (4.7 seconds), PC Mall (5.9 seconds), Apple (6.2 seconds), Scholastic (6.7 seconds) Blue Nile (7 seconds) Comp USA (7.2 seconds) and Coldwater Creek (7.2 seconds).

How fast a web retailing site loads when it is accessed through multiple connections is a prime indicator of how well the retailer is delivering customer satisfaction. On average, visitors and shoppers can access a top 50 business-to-consumer e-commerce site across all types of connectivity in 12.9 seconds, Gomez says.
