Cyberian Outpost loses $9.5 million in first quarter
Technology product retailer Cyberian Outpost Inc. lost $9.5 million in the first quarter, just under the $9.8 million it had during Q1 2000. The company’s revenue totaled $120.9 million, up from $76.4 million at the end of February 2000. Cost of sales, however, increased to $102.7 million from $67 million. The company says it is meeting with creditors to discuss payment options but did not provide further details on its outlook.
