Provide Commerce is making no secret of its latest web site. The company has launched SecretSpoon.com, timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day shopping.

The site is not for the faint of sweet-tooth. It offers freshly-made truffles, cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries, cakes and other confections. The e-retailer links customers directly to major chocolatiers, bakeries and confectioners to ensure product freshness and variety, the company says, with most products reaching consumers within a day or two of being made.

For Valentine’s Day, SecretSpoon.com is offering a special ordering and delivery schedule. It is guaranteeing delivery via standard shipping charges on Valentine’s Day for all orders placed before 3 p.m. EST on Feb. 11. For orders placed before 3 p.m. EST on Feb. 13, the company is guaranteeing next-day delivery with a $4.99 surcharge.

Provide Commerce, an online marketplace of perishable goods web sites, is No. 59 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites. The company also operates ProFlowers.com, CherryMoonFarms.com and UptownPrime.com.
