eBay certifies GoTo Auction’s Channel Fusion for merchandise auctions
GoTo Auctions announced today that its ChannelFusion product has been certified by the eBay Application Program Interface and developer program. GoTo Auctions says the ChannelFusion product enables companies disposing of excess inventory to list high volumes of merchandise, manage listings, supervise inventory, orders and product procurement from their existing platform or web sites.
"By building our ChannelFusion product based on the eBay API, we will provide our merchants with the best auction management tools available," said Scot Wingo, general manager, GoTo Auctions. "Not only is ChannelFusion one of the first applications to make extensive use of the eBay API, we believe it is a `killer`app` allowing businesses of all sizes to now transact on eBay directly from their existing systems."

eBay launched its Application Program Interface in November. It is designed to allow eBay to be fully integrated into third-party web sites or applications; to allow eBay and its commercial partners to expand its services more easily and quickly to new devices and to allow more companies to provide services to eBay users.
