Web retailers were consistent performers in June

Web shoppers in June could access a top 50 retail site with a high broadband connection an average of 98.59% of the time, compared with an average of 96.15% for a low broadband connection and 83.19% for dial-up, says Gomez Inc.

The retailers delivering the best dial-up success rate in June included OfficeMax.com at 96.90%, Zappos.com at 96.76% and Dell.com with an average of 96.59%.

The web merchant providing the best high broadband availability also was Costco.com at 99.56%.
