UPS sets earlier guaranteed delivery time for 2nd Day Air A.M. service
UPS has accelerated the guaranteed delivery time for its 2nd Day Air A.M. service to 10:30 a.m. from 12 p.m. and added a second day delivery option for UPS 2nd Day Air.
In addition, UPS has added 9,300 ZIP Codes to the 2nd Day Air A.M. delivery service area, bringing the total for that service to 26,800 ZIP codes. The service is available throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
The Saturday delivery option costs $12.50 per package in addition to the regular shipping rates.
“Today’s businesses are under enormous pressure to squeeze more time out of their days and fit more days into their weeks,” said Kurt Kuehn, UPS senior vice president, worldwide sales and marketing. “The acceleration of UPS’s 2nd Day Air Service and the addition of 2nd Day Air Saturday delivery provide them faster and more flexible services to help meet these challenges.”
