Gary Korotzer, who joined online gifts retailer RedEnvelope Inc. a year ago as vice president of marketing, has been promoted to chief marketing officer, RedEnvelope said today.
As CMO, Korotzer will oversee all marketing categories, including catalog, web site, online marketing programs, business gifts, advertising and public relations.
Korotzer is speaking at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition June 5-7 in Chicago on the topic, “Online Retailers Finally Discover Loyalty Programs.”
Prior to joining RedEnvelope, No. 89 in the Internet Retailer Top 400 Guide to Retail Web Sites, Korotzer held senior executive positions with The Charles Schwab Corp., American Express Co. and Qwest Communications International Inc.
