Q4 online sales at J.C. Penney rise 22% year-over-year
Internet sales at J.C. Penney Co. Inc. rose 22% year-over-year for the fourth quarter ended January 28, as total net sales rose 4.2% to $6.2 billion and comp store sales rose 2.6% for the, the retailer said today.
Online sales also grew faster than total sales for the full year, rising 28% to more than $1 billion as total net sales rose 3.8% to $18.78 billion and comp store sales increased 4.9%, J.C. Penney said.
