Web analytics provider Omniture reports record revenue of $33.5 million for the second quarter, up 78% compared to the same quarter in 2006. Revenue for the second quarter, ended June 30, 2007, was 15% higher than Q1 2007.
GAAP net loss in the second quarter of 2007 was $4.1 million compared to a net loss of $2.3 million in the second quarter of 2006. Non-GAAP net income was $1.8 million for the second quarter. Non-GAAP net income excludes acquisition-related accounting adjustments to deferred revenue, stock-based compensation, amortization of certain intangible assets, imputed interest related to a patent license agreement and non-recurring acquisition-related expenses.
“Again this quarter we saw record revenue, significant expansion of our partner ecosystem, and for the first time in the company’s history, we added more than 300 new customers in a single quarter, “said Josh James, CEO and co-founder.
New customers added in the second quarter brought Omniture’s total to approximately 2,500. The company reports it captured data from more than 500 billion transactions.
